Job summary

Frontline Personnel is seeking a licensed Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in New York to join our team. The role offers full-time hours with per-diem options, and daily pay is available. The position emphasizes flexibility and meaningful patient care in a long-term care setting.

Qualifications

• Current Speech Language Pathologist license by the State is REQUIRED.
• Skilled Nursing Facility experience is preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of tasks in a Long-Term Care rehab, Skilled Nursing Facility for elderly patients, including applying principles, methods, and procedures for prevention, identification, evaluation, and treatment of communication disorders.
• Consultation, habilitation, rehabilitation, instruction, and research related to communication and swallowing functions.
• Address development and disorders of human communication and related oral and pharyngeal competencies.
• Manage and treat conditions affecting speech, phonology, articulation, fluency, voice, and verbal/nonverbal communication, including cognitive processing and swallowing functions.
