Job summary

Rise N Shine Café in Helena, MT is seeking a versatile dining assistant to join our team. This position can be full time or part time and involves coordinating the station, communicating with front and back of house personnel, and delivering a dining experience that meets guest expectations.

You will handle orders, ensure timely preparation, observe guests, respond to requests, present the bill, and help keep your area clean for the next shift.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent preferred.
• Must be able to communicate (verbal and written) and perform simple mathematical calculations.
• Prior food and/or restaurant experience preferred.
• Knowledge of sequence of service and dining room procedures.
• Friendly with an outgoing personality and service orientation.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate dining station and communicate with front and back of the house personnel to provide a dining experience that meets or exceeds guest expectations.
• Process guest orders to ensure that all items are prepared properly and on a timely basis.
• Observe guests to ensure that they are completely satisfied with food, beverages and service.
• Respond to additional requests and determine when the meal has been completed.
• Present bill and ensure that their section is clean and set up for next shift; complete side work as needed.
