Job summary

TriState Health is seeking a Mental Health Counselor for a new School Based Health Center in Clarkston, Washington. This role involves assessing and treating behavioral health needs, collaborating with students and school staff, and providing essential support. Candidates can apply for either full-time or part-time positions depending on their qualifications. The Counselor will conduct therapy sessions and crisis interventions and is required to hold a Master’s degree and a valid Washington State counseling license.

Qualifications

• Current LCSW or Counseling License in Washington State.
• Current BLS/CPR certification on hire or within orientation.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate mental health, identify triggers, and diagnose conditions.
• Collaborate with patients to develop treatment goals.
• Conduct individual, family, or group therapy sessions.
• Assess and manage immediate risks.
• Document patient progress and maintain confidentiality.
• Refer clients to psychiatrists or community resources.
