Qualifications

• Experience at a Medicare certified home healthcare agency.
• Medicare-certified home health aide certification required.
• Certified Home Health Aide required.

Responsibilities

• Provide health care services in patient’s residences.
• Administer simple prescribed medications.
• Monitor patients and report on their condition.
• Maintain patient care records and document services.
• Assist patients with mobility and physical therapies.

Skills

Experience as a Licensed home health care aide

Ability to monitor vital signs

Knowledge of personal hygiene standards

Compassionate and caring personality

Current CPR certificate

First aid training

Education
