Job summary

Wyoming Department of Health seeks a Business Operations Analyst to support Program Integrity and manage the Annual Single Statewide Audit for Medicaid, along with overpayment recovery activities. You will track provider payments and facilitate documentation delivery to partners to ensure compliance and timely processing.

This role emphasizes strong analytical and organizational skills, with cross‑agency collaboration and opportunities to contribute to Wyoming communities through meaningful work

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in a related field.
• 0-2 years progressive work experience in Benefits and Eligibility.
• 3-5 years Experience can substitute Education & Experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage SSA audit activities for the Medicaid program and coordinate with staff, contractors, and auditors.
• Develop internal procedures to support audit compliance including records requests and documentation management.
• Compile and submit audit documentation, provider information, claims data, and responses within deadlines.
• Manage provider outreach related to audit records requests and follow-ups with non-responsive providers.
• Coordinate with Utilization Management contractors on medical necessity reviews and prepare documentation for auditors and leadership.
• Develop and maintain fiscal reports covering payments, recoveries, and related financial activity.
