Job summary

Hallmark is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support our resident community with upkeep of buildings and grounds. The role covers interior and exterior maintenance, including electrical, plumbing, and HVAC tasks, with emphasis on safety and resident satisfaction.

The candidate will work in a team, maintain records, and assist with turnover duties. Must have strong mechanical aptitude, be able to lift 40 pounds, and pass a background check. Flexible hours are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum two to three years of experience in maintenance, carpentry, plumbing, electrical or HVAC, and repair of minor equipment.
• Ability to speak, read, and write in English.
• Must be able to lift at least 40 pounds.
• Must be able to work flexible hours.
• Background check and drug testing required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain safety and upkeep of building, equipment, and grounds.
• Perform electrical, plumbing, refrigeration, heating/cooling, and general maintenance tasks.
• Respond to resident service requests and coordinate with management.
• Keep accurate maintenance records and monitor outside contractors.
