Job summary

Bowes In Home Care in Elgin, IL is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our home health team part-time or PRN with flexible scheduling. You will visit patients in their homes to deliver acute and preventive care, manage chronic conditions, and educate families on care plans.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years of acute care nursing experience, an Illinois RN license, an associate degree (BSN preferred), CPR certification, and reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of acute care nursing experience
• Illinois RN license currently active
• Associate’s degree required, BSN preferred
• 1 year of Home Health experience preferred
• CPR certification current
• Excellent communication and critical thinking skills
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Electronic charting using Brightree

Responsibilities

• Visit multiple patients’ homes daily to provide comprehensive acute care
• Manage chronic disease and provide medication instruction, pain management
• Perform wound care and IV infusions as needed
• Provide post-operative instructions and coordinate with physicians
