Job summary

QuadMed seeks qualified Clinical Laboratory Technicians for PRN opportunities to support laboratory testing and deliver high-quality patient care.

PRN roles offer flexible scheduling with shifts based on department needs and work-life balance. Education includes an associate degree in Medical Laboratory Technology and ASCP/CAB certification, with CPR/BLS required within 60 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited college or university with an associate’s degree in Medical Laboratory Technology.
• One (1) year of experience in a clinical laboratory environment preferred.
• Current board certification (ASCP or another recognized certifying board).
• Current CPR (BLS) certification or must be obtained within 60 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Performs patient and Quality Control (QC) testing; maintains skills in all laboratory areas.
• Maintains inventories; uses supplies and reagents correctly.
• Performs advanced equipment troubleshooting and maintenance; ensures proper procedures after service.
• Performs phlebotomy as appropriate for patients of all ages.
• Adheres to safety, HIPAA, and infection control policies.
• Promotes teamwork and professional environment.
• Other duties as assigned by the lab supervisor.
