Job summary

Right at Home Central New Jersey is hiring a Certified Home Health Aide or Companion Caregiver to provide compassionate, in-home care across Middlesex, Mercer, and Northern Monmouth Counties. The role focuses on helping seniors age in place with daily activities and health support.

You will follow doctor and nurse instructions, document care needs, and coordinate with family and healthcare teams. NJ CHHA license and reliable transportation are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is preferred.
• NJ Licensed Certified Home Health Aide is required.
• 2-step PPD test is required.
• Physical within the last 12 months.
• MMR vaccination.
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English for the job.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with daily activities such as dressing and bathing.
• Help plan for doctor's appointments and arrange transportation as needed.
• Provide light housekeeping tasks (dusting, laundry, etc.).
• Prepare and cook meals for patients.
• Report health status to nurses and caregivers.
