Right at Home of Central New Jersey is seeking a Skilled Certified Home Health Aide or Companion Caregiver to provide compassionate in-home care across Middlesex, Mercer and Northern Monmouth Counties, helping seniors age in place.

The role requires a NJ-licensed CHHA, a high school diploma or GED, health screenings, and reliable transportation. You will follow doctors' and nurses' instructions and may work hourly, full-time or per-diem with flexible hours.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED certificate preferred.
• NJ Licensed as Certified Home Health Aide a must
• 2-step PPD
• Physical within the last 12 months
• MMR
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English as needed for the job.
• Reliable transportation

Responsabilités

• Help patients in a variety of ways; record and report data as medically necessary.
• Help patients with daily functions, such as dressing or bathing.
• Assist with planning for doctor's appointments and may organize transportation.
• Work hourly or live-in; may perform facility tasks.
• Light housekeeping (dusting, mopping, laundry, etc.).
• Prepping and cooking meals; grocery shopping.
• Reporting to nurses about patients' health status.
• Teaching patients self-care skills.
