Pay-Less Markets in Tamuning, GU is seeking a part-time cashier to accurately ring up groceries, process payments, and deliver friendly customer service. This role requires a quick, reliable worker who can handle cash, checks and card transactions while maintaining store policies and promotions.

The position supports locating merchandise for customers and may involve bagging groceries. Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma and 2–3 years of related experience, with strong math skills

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2–3 years of related work experience.
• Mathematical skills.
• Must pass an initial cashier’s test.

Responsabilités

• Accurately rings up grocery items using the POS system.
• Accepts and processes various payment types, including cash, WIC, food stamps, checks, and cards.
• Provides courteous, friendly service under the Customer Friendly Service guidelines.
• Responds to customer inquiries regarding promotions, policies, and item locations.
• Directs customers or retrieves products to assist with locating merchandise.
• May assist with bagging groceries and helping customers as needed.
• Maintains knowledge of product codes and velocity codes for pricing.
• Participates in inventory counts and supports other departments as needed.
