A local educational provider is seeking enthusiastic individuals to facilitate engaging after-school science classes for elementary-age children. The role involves conducting fun, hands-on sessions that meet weekly. Ideal candidates will have some experience with kids, a fun personality, and reliable transportation. The work is part-time, rewarding, and fits well into various schedules. Compensation is $50 per class conducted.

Qualifications

• Some experience working with groups of elementary-age (4-12) children preferred.
• Must be available at least two weekdays after 2 p.m.
• Reliable transportation that is not public or ride-share required.
• All employees will be fingerprinted for criminal background checks.

Responsibilities

• Facilitating a one-hour after-school science enrichment program using a pre-set curriculum.
• High-energy, hands-on class meets weekly for 8-10 weeks.
• Teaching young children the art of science.
