Job summary

PAM Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Clear Lake North in Webster, TX is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) Wound Care Specialist to coordinate wound care therapy within the nursing plan and lead patient care. You will teach patients and families and collaborate with the care team to uphold nursing standards.

The role requires two years of direct patient care, an active RN license in Texas, CPR certification, and preferred wound care certification.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Current Registered Nurse license for the state of Texas.
• CPR certification required.
• Wound care certification preferred.
• Two years direct patient care experience required.
• Experience in emergency or critical care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate wound care therapy into the nursing care plan.
• Participate in patient and family teaching.
• Provide leadership by collaborating with the care team to maintain standards of nursing practice.
• Report to the Director of Wound Care.
