Job summary

SFS is a leading provider of retail merchandising services across the United States, Puerto Rico, and the Virgin Islands. We are growing our nationwide network of independent contractors and seek experienced Retail Merchandisers to support major retailers and brands with flexible, project-based work.

Assignments typically involve merchandising, resets, audits, display maintenance, and inventory tasks, averaging 12-20 hours monthly per project.

Qualifications

• Previous merchandising, retail, reset, auditing, or customer service experience.
• Ability to read and execute planograms and merchandising instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Comfortable using mobile technology for reporting and project documentation.
• Available to complete assignments during weekday daytime hours.

Responsibilities

• Review project instructions and client expectations before each assignment
• Execute merchandising projects according to client requirements
• Perform product resets, cut-ins, display maintenance, and promotional installations
• Remove discontinued or outdated products and materials
• Conduct inventory counts and product scanning activities
• Stock and organize merchandise according to planograms and merchandising standards
• Ensure displays are clean, organized, and accurately presented
• Travel between retail locations as desired and accepted
• Complete required reporting, including photos and project documentation, using a mobile device
• Submit project completion reports on the same day services are performed
