Job summary

SFS is expanding its nationwide network of independent contractors, seeking experienced Retail Merchandisers who enjoy flexible, self-directed work. You can set your own schedule, choose projects that fit your availability, and earn supplemental income while servicing major retailers.

Assignments typically involve merchandising, resets, stock, and display maintenance with 12-20 hours monthly per project. You’ll report progress via mobile and travel between locations as needed.

Qualifications

• Merchandising/retail experience preferred.
• Read and execute planograms and merchandising instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple assignments.
• Effective communication and problem-solving skills.
• Comfortable using mobile technology for reporting and project documentation.
• Available to complete assignments during retailer service windows, primarily weekday daytime hours.
• Lift up to 40 pounds repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
• Reliable transportation between locations and a smartphone/tablet with internet.
• Active email address for project communication and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Review project instructions and client expectations before each assignment.
• Execute merchandising projects according to client requirements.
• Perform product resets, cut-ins, display maintenance, and promotional installations.
• Remove discontinued or outdated products and materials.
• Conduct inventory counts and product scanning activities.
• Stock and organize merchandise according to planograms and standards.
• Ensure displays are clean, organized, and accurately presented.
• Travel between retail locations as needed and accepted.
• Complete required reporting with photos and project documentation via mobile device.
• Submit project completion reports on the same day work is performed.
