Job summary

SFS is seeking experienced Retail Merchandisers for a nationwide network of independent contractors. This role offers a flexible, project-based schedule servicing major retailers and brands across the United States. Projects typically range from 12-20 hours per month, with occasional first-two-weeks-of-month coverage.

Ideal candidates are self-motivated, able to work independently, and capable of travel between locations to complete merchandising tasks and reporting via mobile devices.

Qualifications

• Previous merchandising, retail, reset, auditing, or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to read and execute planograms and merchandising instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Review project instructions and client expectations before each assignment.
• Execute merchandising projects according to client requirements.
• Perform product resets, cut-ins, display maintenance, and promotional installations.
• Remove discontinued or outdated products and materials.
• Conduct inventory counts and product scanning activities.
• Stock and organize merchandise according to planograms and merchandising standards.
• Ensure displays are clean, organized, and accurately presented.
• Travel between retail locations as desired and accepted.
• Complete required reporting, including photos and project documentation, using a mobile device.
• Submit project completion reports on the same day services are performed.
