Job summary

SFS is seeking experienced Retail Merchandisers to join our nationwide network of independent contractors. This is an excellent opportunity for self-motivated professionals seeking flexible, supplemental income while servicing some of the nation's largest retailers and brands.

Assignments may include merchandising, product resets, inventory audits, display maintenance, and other retail support tasks. Most projects range from 12–20 hours per month, with some locations needing service in the first

Qualifications

• Experience in merchandising, retail, reset, auditing, or customer service preferred.
• Ability to read and execute planograms and merchandising instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple assignments.
• Comfortable using mobile technology for reporting and documentation.
• Available to complete assignments during retailer service windows, primarily weekday daytime hours.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds repeatedly.
• Ability to bend, stoop, reach, kneel, and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Review project instructions and client expectations before each assignment.
• Execute merchandising projects according to client requirements.
• Perform product resets, cut-ins, display maintenance, and promotional installations.
• Remove discontinued or outdated products and materials.
• Conduct inventory counts and product scanning activities.
• Stock and organize merchandise according to planograms and merchandising standards.
• Ensure displays are clean, organized, and accurately presented.
• Travel between retail locations as desired and accepted.
• Complete required reporting, including photos and project documentation, using a mobile device.
• Submit project completion reports on the same day services are performed.
