Job summary

SFS is growing, and we're seeking experienced Retail Merchandisers to join our nationwide network of independent contractors. This role offers a flexible, project-based schedule and supplemental income while servicing major retailers and brands.

Assignments may include merchandising, product resets, inventory reviews, and display maintenance. Typical projects range in hours per month, with some locations requiring service in the first two weeks of each month.

Qualifications

• Experience in merchandising, retail, auditing or customer service preferred.
• Ability to read and execute planograms and merchandising instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple assignments.
• Effective communication and problem-solving skills.
• Comfortable using mobile technology for reporting and documentation.
• Available to complete assignments during retailer service windows, weekdays.
• Physically capable of lifting up to 50 pounds and standing for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Review project instructions and client expectations before each assignment.
• Execute merchandising projects according to client requirements.
• Perform product resets, display maintenance, and promotional installations.
• Remove discontinued or outdated products and materials.
• Conduct inventory counts and product scanning activities.
• Stock and organize merchandise according to planograms and standards.
• Ensure displays are clean, organized, and accurately presented.
• Travel between retail locations as required and approved.
• Complete required reporting with photos and project documentation using a mobile device.
• Submit project completion reports on the same day work is performed.
