Job summary

SFS is actively seeking experienced Retail Merchandisers to join our nationwide network of independent contractors. This role offers a flexible schedule with project-based work across major retailers and brands in the United States.

You’ll perform merchandising tasks, resets, audits, and reporting using a mobile device. Projects typically range from 12–20 hours per month, with some locations requiring service during the first two weeks of each month.

Qualifications

• Experience in merchandising, auditing, or customer service preferred.
• Able to read and execute planograms and merchandising instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Able to work independently and manage multiple assignments.
• Effective communication and problem-solving skills.
• Comfortable using mobile technology for reporting and project documentation.
• Available to complete assignments during weekday daytime hours.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds repeatedly.
• Mobility to travel between assigned retail locations.

Responsibilities

• Review project instructions and client expectations before each assignment.
• Execute merchandising projects according to client requirements.
• Perform product resets, cut-ins, display maintenance, and promotional installations.
• Remove discontinued or outdated products and materials.
• Conduct inventory counts and product scanning activities.
• Stock and organize merchandise according to planograms and standards.
• Ensure displays are clean, organized, and accurately presented.
• Travel between retail locations as needed and accepted.
• Complete required reporting, including photos and project documentation, using a mobile device.
• Submit project completion reports on the same day services are performed.
