Job summary

SFS is growing and seeks experienced Retail Merchandisers to join our nationwide network of independent contractors. This role offers flexible, supplemental income with no fixed schedule, servicing major retailers and brands.

Assignments include merchandising, product resets, stock management, display maintenance, and more. Typical projects range 12-20 hours per month, with some sites requiring service early in the month. Travel among locations is common.

Qualifications

• Experience in merchandising, retail, resets, audits, or customer service.
• Ability to read and execute planograms and merchandising instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple assignments.
• Effective communication and problem-solving skills.
• Comfortable using mobile technology for reporting and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Review project instructions and client expectations before each assignment.
• Execute merchandising projects according to client requirements.
• Perform product resets, cut-ins, display maintenance, and promotional installations.
• Remove discontinued or outdated products and materials.
• Conduct inventory counts and product scanning activities.
• Stock and organize merchandise according to planograms and standards.
• Ensure displays are clean, organized, and accurately presented.
• Travel between retail locations as needed and accepted.
• Complete required reporting, including photos and project documentation, using a mobile device.
• Submit project completion reports on the same day services are performed.
