Job summary

SFS is seeking experienced Retail Merchandisers to join our nationwide network of independent contractors. This role offers a flexible, project-based schedule with opportunities to service multiple retailers and brands across the United States.

Typical projects range from 12-20 hours per month, with some locations requiring service during the first two weeks of each month. As a contractor, you’ll review client expectations, execute merchandising tasks, perform resets, inventory counts, and

Qualifications

• Previous merchandising, retail, reset, auditing, or customer service experience preferred
• Ability to read and execute planograms and merchandising instructions
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple assignments
• Effective communication and problem-solving skills
• Comfortable using mobile technology for reporting and project documentation
• Available to complete assignments during retailer service windows, primarily weekday daytime hours
• Ability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds repeatedly
• Ability to bend, stoop, reach, kneel, and stand for extended periods
• Reliable transportation for travel between assigned retail locations
• Smartphone or tablet (Android or iOS) with internet access
• Active email address for project communication and reporting
• Ability to submit project completion reports and photos on the same day work is performed

Responsibilities

• Review project instructions and client expectations before each assignment
• Execute merchandising projects according to client requirements
• Perform product resets, cut-ins, display maintenance, and promotional installations
• Remove discontinued or outdated products and materials
• Conduct inventory counts and product scanning activities
• Stock and organize merchandise according to planograms and merchandising standards
• Ensure displays are clean, organized, and accurately presented
• Travel between retail locations as desired and accepted
• Complete required reporting, including photos and project documentation, using a mobile device
• Submit project completion reports on the same day services are performed
