Job summary

SFS is growing its nationwide network of independent contractors and seeking experienced Retail Merchandisers. This role offers flexible, supplemental income with service windows set by clients, including merchandising, resets, audits, and stock maintenance across major retailers.

Assignments typically range from 12–20 hours per month, with some locations requiring work in the first two weeks of each month. You’ll travel between stores as needed and report progress via mobile devices.

Qualifications

• Previous merchandising, retail, or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to read and execute planograms and merchandising instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple assignments.
• Comfortable using mobile technology for reporting and documentation.
• Available during weekday daytime service windows.

Responsibilities

• Review project instructions and client expectations before each assignment.
• Execute merchandising projects according to client requirements.
• Perform product resets, cut-ins, display maintenance, and promotional installations.
• Remove discontinued or outdated products and materials.
• Conduct inventory counts and product scanning activities.
• Stock and organize merchandise according to planograms and merchandising standards.
• Ensure displays are clean, organized, and accurately presented.
• Travel between retail locations as needed and accepted.
• Submit project completion reports and photos on the same day services are performed.
