Job summary

SFS is seeking experienced Retail Merchandisers to join a nationwide network of independent contractors. This role offers flexible scheduling and supplemental income across major retailers, with service windows rather than fixed shifts.

Assignments may include merchandising, resets, audits, and stock maintenance, typically 12–20 hours per month per project. Contractors will travel between locations, complete reporting via mobile devices, and select projects that fit their availability.

Qualifications

• Experience in merchandising, retail, reset, auditing, or customer service preferred.
• Ability to read and execute planograms and merchandising instructions.
• Comfortable using mobile devices for reporting and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Review project instructions and client expectations before each assignment.
• Execute merchandising projects according to client requirements.
• Perform product resets, cut-ins, display maintenance, and promotional installations.
• Remove discontinued or outdated products and materials.
• Conduct inventory counts and product scanning activities.
• Stock and organize merchandise according to planograms and standards.
• Ensure displays are clean, organized, and accurately presented.
• Travel between retail locations as required and accepted.
• Submit project completion reports and photos on the same day.
