Job summary

SFS is a leading retail merchandising provider seeking experienced Retail Merchandisers to join our nationwide independent contractor network. This role offers flexible schedules and service windows set by clients, allowing you to work across some of the nation’s largest retailers and brands.

Assignments typically range from 12–20 hours per month, with some locations requiring service during the first two weeks of each month.

Qualifications

• Experience in merchandising, retail, reset, auditing, or customer service.
• Ability to read and follow planograms and instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and organization.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple assignments.
• Effective communication and problem-solving skills.
• Comfortable using mobile technology for reporting.
• Available to complete assignments during weekday daytime hours.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds repeatedly.
• Able to bend, stoop, reach, kneel, and stand for extended periods.
• Reliable transportation between locations.
• Smartphone or tablet with internet access.
• Active email address for project communication.
• Submit project completion reports and photos on the same day work is performed.

Responsibilities

• Review project instructions and client expectations before each assignment.
• Execute merchandising projects according to client requirements.
• Perform product resets, cut-ins, display maintenance, and installations.
• Remove discontinued or outdated products and materials.
• Conduct inventory counts and product scanning.
• Stock and organize merchandise per planograms and standards.
• Ensure displays are clean, organized, and accurately presented.
• Travel between retail locations as needed.
• Submit project completion reports via mobile and report photos.
• Complete required reporting on the same day services are performed.
