Job summary

SFS is growing its nationwide network of independent contractors and seeking experienced Retail Merchandisers to support major retailers and brands. This contract-based work offers a flexible schedule with project windows and the potential for daily pay.

Assignments typically range from 12-20 hours per month, with occasional service in the first two weeks of each month. Ideal candidates enjoy independent work, stay active, and deliver high-quality retail execution.

Qualifications

• Experience in merchandising, retail, or customer service preferred.
• Ability to read and execute planograms and merchandising instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple assignments.
• Comfortable using mobile technology for reporting and project documentation.

Responsibilities

• Review project instructions and client expectations before each assignment.
• Execute merchandising projects according to client requirements.
• Perform product resets, cut-ins, display maintenance, and promotional installations.
• Remove discontinued or outdated products and materials.
• Conduct inventory counts and product scanning activities.
• Stock and organize merchandise according to planograms and merchandising standards.
• Ensure displays are clean, organized, and accurately presented.
• Travel between retail locations as needed and agreed.
• Submit project completion reports and photos on the same day services are performed.
