Job summary

SFS is seeking experienced Retail Merchandisers to join our nationwide network of independent contractors. This role offers flexible, contractor-based work with project-based pay across multiple retailers and brands.

Assignments typically range from 12–20 hours per month, with some locations requiring service in the first two weeks of each month. Ideal candidates enjoy independent work, active, and delivering high-quality retail execution.

Qualifications

• Experience in merchandising, retail, or related customer service roles preferred.
• Ability to read and execute planograms and merchandising instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple assignments and work independently.
• Effective communication and problem-solving skills.
• Comfortable using mobile devices for reporting and documentation.
• Available to complete assignments during weekday daylight hours.
• Reliable transportation for travel between locations.

Responsibilities

• Review project instructions and client expectations before each assignment.
• Execute merchandising projects according to client requirements.
• Perform product resets, cut-ins, display maintenance, and promotional installations.
• Remove discontinued or outdated products and materials.
• Conduct inventory counts and product scanning activities.
• Stock and organize merchandise according to planograms and standards.
• Ensure displays are clean, organized, and presented accurately.
• Travel between retail locations as needed and approved.
• Submit project completion reports and photos on the same day services are performed.
