Visiting Angels - Claremont, NH is seeking a Respite Private Duty Caregiver to support elderly clients in home settings across the Connecticut River Valley, including Springfield, NH and Brattleboro, VT. This role emphasizes compassionate, in-home care with flexible day shifts and opportunities to grow within the agency.

Pay ranges from $18.00 to $22.00 per hour, based on experience, with benefits such as paid time off, mileage reimbursement, direct deposit, continuing education, and holidays

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent time-management skills.
• Reliable transportation to client visits.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with basic housekeeping and cooking tasks.
• Must pass a background check and drug screen.
• Training/knowledge in First Aid and emergency response.
• Willingness to comply with state and office health and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Help clients with personal care and hygiene.
• Manage light housekeeping tasks.
• Encourage clients to meet exercise and fitness goals.
• Prompt clients to take medications at the right times.
• Assist with shopping and meal preparation as needed.
• Support mobility and accompany clients to appointments or activities.
• Report health changes promptly and accurately.
