Job summary

Mercy is seeking an experienced Respiratory Therapist to perform direct patient care across respiratory care activities in accordance with physician orders at our Cahokia, IL location. The role requires consultation with physicians on therapy effectiveness and serving as a resource for physicians and nursing staff.

The position offers flexible shifts with day/night options, no weekend or holiday requirements, and compensation at $35/hr for RRT and $30/hr for CRT with incentive opportunities, W-2

Qualifications

• Graduate of CoArc approved Respiratory Care program.
• Current Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license.
• RRT or CRT credential issued by NBRC; PALS for ER, ACLS required.

Responsibilities

• Performs direct patient care in all aspects of respiratory care as ordered by physicians.
• Consults physicians on effectiveness of therapy.
• Acts as an advanced resource person for physicians and nursing staff.
• Performs duties as assigned.
