Job summary

Crosswalk Health is hiring Respiratory Therapists (CRT or RRT) and Pulmonary Function Technologists (CPFT or RPFT) to perform spirometry testing in primary care clinics around Jackson, MS. This contract role offers weekday daytime hours with no nights or weekends, and the ability to work 1–2 days per week.

You’ll perform pre- and post-bronchodilator tests, educate patients for quality results, and coordinate with clinicians while maintaining equipment and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Experience performing bedside spirometry or pulmonary function testing.
• Willingness to commute to clinics across the region.
• Flexible schedule availability.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Visit local primary care clinics to perform pre- and post-bronchodilator spirometry testing.
• Educate and coach patients to ensure accurate, high-quality results.
• Safely administer albuterol when indicated and monitor patients throughout testing.
• Grade and upload completed testing for pulmonologist review.
• Maintain testing equipment and follow quality and safety standards.
• Build trusted relationships with patients and clinic teams while representing Crosswalk Health with professionalism and compassion.
