Job summary

OpTech/G-Tech is seeking a safety‑focused Materials Coordinator to support warehouse operations at our Hahnville, LA site. You will handle materials, perform inventory tasks, operate forklifts, and assist with Investment Recovery activities while following safety and environmental requirements.

The role requires forklift experience, basic computer skills, and the ability to learn SAP and Mobility applications.

Qualifications

• Experience in warehouse or industrial operations.
• Forklift operation experience; site certification will be provided.
• Basic computer proficiency with standard software suites.
• Ability to learn SAP, Mobility applications and related processes.
• Strong organization, prioritization, and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Active driver's license and TWIC card.

Responsibilities

• Pull, stage, receive, store, and deliver materials across the site.
• Load, unload, and transport materials using forklifts and equipment.
• Open, verify, and count incoming packages and materials.
• Perform warehouse transactions and inventory activities in SAP/Mobility.
• Maintain accurate inventory and follow warehouse procedures.
• Manage scrap metal containers and Investment Recovery materials.
• Operate a backhoe for scrap metal container management after training.
• Support Investment Recovery meetings and related activities.
• Collaborate with warehouse, site operations, and other teams.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
