Job summary

New Frontier Animal Medical Center seeks an experienced Relief / Per Diem Veterinarian with a DVM/VMD and Illinois license to cover four central Illinois hospitals on a W‑2 basis. The role offers flexible scheduling across Pine Bluff, Skinner, Lakewood, and Dwight facilities, with a 3–4 day per week or ~12 shifts per month plan.

The position provides the stability of W‑2 employment, competitive per-shift pay, mileage reimbursement, and a benefits package including medical/dental/vision, a 401(k)

Qualifications

• 3+ years of clinical veterinary experience
• DVM or VMD from AVMA‑accredited college
• Active Illinois veterinary license in good standing (or ability to obtain)
• Enjoy collaborating with different teams and delivering high‑quality medicine

Responsibilities

• Provide veterinary care across Pine Bluff Animal Hospital, Skinner Animal Clinic, Lakewood Animal Hospital, and Dwight Veterinary Clinic
• Collaborate with hospital teams to ensure consistent medical standards
• Maintain excellent patient care and communication with clients
