Job summary

HealthPro Heritage is seeking a full-time Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) in Herrin, Illinois for our Long-Term Care division. The role offers $30–$33/hour based on experience and a flexible schedule in a supportive rehab environment.

As part of a therapist-led, collaborative team, you will assist with patient care, document progress, and educate patients and families on treatment plans. Growth opportunities and a comprehensive benefits package accompany the role.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Physical Therapist Assisting from an accredited program.
• Valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant, or license eligible.
• Strong assessment, diagnostic, and therapeutic abilities with excellent communication and interpersonal skills; proficient with diagnostic tools, therapy equipment, relevant software, and EHR systems; collaborative team player.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing treatment plans designed by Physical Therapists; provide direct patient care including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and modality applications.
• Monitor and document patient progress; educate patients and families on treatment protocols, exercises, and self-care techniques.
• Accurately document patient treatments, progress and responses in compliance with facility policies and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with Physical Therapists and healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care and outcomes.
