The Lakes Home Care, Inc. is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team.

The ideal candidate will support Physical Therapists by implementing treatment plans and helping patients regain movement and manage pain in home-care settings. Candidates should have experience in geriatrics or hospital settings, knowledge of physiology, and the ability to educate patients and families on exercises and home routines.

Qualifications

• Experience in patient care, particularly in geriatrics, orthopedics, or hospital settings, or home care preferred.
• Knowledge of physiology and occupational health practices.
• Familiarity with inpatient therapy procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide assistance to Physical Therapists in developing and implementing treatment plans
• Work with patients to help them regain movement and manage pain
• Monitor and document patient progress during therapy sessions
• Educate patients and their families on at-home exercises and care routines
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
