Job summary

Certus Healthcare- Waterville is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to support physical therapists in delivering rehabilitation services at Heritage Village of Waterville in Waterville, Ohio. The role offers a highly flexible, part-time schedule with the ability to pick client visits that fit your availability.

Starting pay is $30 per hour, with a typical Monday–Friday schedule and variable treatment times based on caseload.

Qualifications

• Certification as a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) is required.
• Strong knowledge of rehabilitation practices and medical terminology.
• Experience in inpatient, outpatient, or skilled nursing facilities is preferred.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Assist physical therapists in implementing treatment plans for patients.
• Monitor patient progress and report changes to the supervising therapist.
• Provide hands-on therapy techniques such as exercises and modalities.
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans and home exercises.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient care activities and progress notes.
• Ensure a safe and clean environment for patient care.
