Job summary

Protein Solutions in Joplin, MO is seeking a Full Time Manufacturing Utility to support production lines and materials handling. The role offers a unique balance with a half-year schedule and night/weekend eligibility to earn shift differentials.

You’ll work various shifts (A/B/C/D) with alternating Sundays, must pass pre-employment screening, and can advance with timely promotions. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401k and PTO.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must possess high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be willing to submit for pre-employment drug screen and background check.
• Must be able to communicate, understand instructions, and read English.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Must be able to lift, move, push, pull 55 lbs on a regular basis.
• Must be able to perform physical tasks for extended periods of time including: standing, walking, climbing, bending, pushing, pulling and twisting over surfaces.
• Willing to work overtime, as needed.
• Willing and able to adhere to all safety standards and wear all necessary personal protective equipment.
• Willing and able to adhere to all grooming requirements necessary for a food manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Follow all company safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment
• Support production lines by supplying with materials as needed
• Perform various sanitation and clean up duties to maintain work areas
• Stack and store packaging supplies in an orderly manner
• Participate in start-up, change over and shut down of operating equipment
• Ability to work as a member of a team
• Ability to read and understand company documents and procedures
• Perform additional related tasks as assigned
