Job summary

BrightStar Care of Amarillo is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide home-based therapy to pediatric through adult patients in the Amarillo area. This PRN/As-Needed role offers flexible scheduling and the opportunity to support patients in their homes.

You'll evaluate speech, language, cognitive and swallowing needs, develop individualized goals, deliver therapy, monitor progress, and document accordingly. A Texas SLP license is required.

Qualifications

Active Texas SLP license.
Minimum 1 year SLP experience.
Current BLS/CPR certification.
Own device and reliable internet to access schedule and charting.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Ability to work independently and manage your schedule.

Responsibilities

Evaluate patients with speech, language, cognitive, communication, and swallowing needs.
Develop individualized treatment plans and goals.
Provide therapy based on each patient’s needs.
Monitor progress and modify treatment as appropriate.
Communicate with families, physicians, and other care team members.
Complete required documentation.
