Job summary

Texoma Medical Center, part of Universal Health Services, is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for a PRN position with a flexible schedule and potential overtime. The RN will provide safe, compassionate care in a busy emergency environment while upholding the hospital’s standards and patient-centered approach.

Qualified candidates hold a Texas nursing license (or compact license) with ER RN experience, and are BLS, ACLS, and PALS certified.

Qualifications

• Current Texas nursing license or compact license.
• Two years full time ER RN experience required.
• RQI BLS, ACLS and PALS required.
• TNCC required within 1 year of hire.
• Must successfully pass any pre-employment assessment(s) required by the facility.
• Must be able to identify and competently address needs of populations served.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, competent nursing care for patients in accordance with facility policies, standards, and philosophy.
• Provide professional leadership and support to the healthcare team.
• Demonstrates Service Excellence standards at all times.
• Follow Standards of Practice guidelines for competent and safe nursing practice.
