Job summary

IU Health Arnett is seeking a PRN Radiologic Technologist for Outpatient Radiology. The role supports four outpatient locations, covering sites as needed for vacations and staffing while maintaining consistent imaging standards.

Responsibilities include operating imaging equipment, preparing and positioning patients, and collaborating with radiologists to ensure accurate images. Radiation safety, EMR documentation, and ongoing education are required.

Qualifications

• 0-3 years of relevant experience.
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association is required.
• Ability to maneuver radiography equipment and improvise positions as needed.
• Active ARRT Radiography status or board-eligible with credential within 6 months of hire.
• Current ISDH Radiologic Technologist license or ISDH Radiology Student Permit.

Responsibilities

• Operate imaging equipment for outpatient and urgent care patients.
• Explain exams and position patients before imaging.
• Collaborate with radiologists and referring physicians to ensure accurate imaging.
• Follow radiation safety protocols and document patient history in EMR.
• Provide continuous documentation and patient monitoring during exams.
