Job summary

The Gardens at Gettysburg seeks a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our rehabilitation team on a PRN basis in Gettysburg, PA. You will provide PT treatments under supervision, assist with evaluations, and contribute to personalized treatment plans to help residents regain mobility and independence.

Ideal candidates hold an Associate’s degree in PTA and an active PA PTA license, with strong communication skills and a collaborative, resident-centered approach to care.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Current Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license in the state of Pennsylvania.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative care team.
• Commitment to providing compassionate, resident-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy treatments under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Assist with resident evaluations and contribute to the development of individualized treatment plans.
• Implement therapeutic interventions to improve mobility, balance, strength, endurance, and functional abilities.
• Accurately document treatment sessions, resident progress, and outcomes.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to support residents' rehabilitation goals.
• Ensure compliance with facility policies, professional standards, and regulatory requirements.
