Job summary

Doctors of Physical Therapy seeks a flexible Physical Therapist (PT) to join our Evanston-Downtown Chicago area team on a PRN basis. The role focuses on delivering patient-centered care with strong clinical decision-making in a busy outpatient setting.

Responsibilities include evaluations, developing treatment plans, manual therapy, exercise, documentation, and collaboration with physicians. Illinois license required; DPT or equivalent degree required; new grads considered depending on setting.

Qualifications

• DPT or Master of Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Active Illinois Physical Therapist license in good standing.
• New graduates may be considered depending on setting.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient evaluations to assess functional limitations and establish treatment goals.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to optimize patient outcomes.
• Deliver skilled therapeutic interventions, including manual therapy, exercise, and modalities.
• Document patient care accurately and in a timely manner in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as appropriate.
• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and injury prevention strategies.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated care.
• Maintain adherence to clinic policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
