Cardinal Health Innovative Delivery Solutions in Orange City, IA, is seeking an Outpatient Pharmacist to join our hospital-based retail pharmacy team. You will dispense medications, provide patient consultations, and support immunization services where applicable.

The role emphasizes safe delivery, 340B contract pharmacy compliance, and collaboration with prescribers and staff. PRN schedule, hours Mon-Thu 8am-6:30pm, Fri 8am-5pm, with opportunities to impact community health.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in pharmacy required, PharmD preferred.
• 2 years pharmacy experience preferred.
• Pharmacist registration in the state where the position is located.
• Immunization Certification or willing to become a certified immunizer within 90 days of hire.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule.
• Interpersonal relations and customer service skills.
• Multitasking and time management skills.
• 340B Experience preferred.
• May require vendor credentialing.

Responsibilities

• Dispense medications and ensure safe and efficient delivery to customers.
• Maintain open communication with customers and practitioner sites for consultations.
• Participate in supervision of technical staff.
• Ensure pharmacy complies with 340B contract pharmacy practices.
• Provide professional consultation to patients and prescribers.
• Organize technicians' workflow and verify orders, labeling, and inspections.
