Job summary

Cherry Hill Nursing and Rehab in Westland, MI is seeking a compassionate PRN Occupational Therapist to join our rehabilitation team. You will evaluate residents, design goals, and deliver hands-on OT to improve independence and safety.

This role offers a flexible PRN schedule, collaboration with an interdisciplinary team, ongoing education, and a supportive work environment focused on resident well-being. Experience with aging populations preferred; MI licensure required; BLS CPR certification

Qualifications

• Active MI OT license required.
• Graduate of an accredited OT program.
• Current BLS certification.
• Strong clinical judgment and communication.
• Compassionate, patient-focused care.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with rehab and interdisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents and develop individualized OT treatment plans with measurable goals.
• Provide hands-on, evidence-based OT interventions to improve independence, safety, and daily functioning.
• Monitor resident progress, update goals, and modify treatment plans as appropriate.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to support coordinated rehabilitation outcomes.
• Educate residents, families, and caregivers on therapeutic techniques and strategies to support progress.
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure regulatory compliance.
