Job summary

Heritage Village of Waterville is actively seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to support rehabilitation services in a skilled nursing setting in Waterville, OH. The role focuses on implementing treatment plans, assisting patients with activities of daily living, and documenting progress under the supervision of occupational therapists.

This PRN position offers a starting pay rate of $30 per hour with a Monday–Friday schedule and flexible start/end times based on caseload.

Qualifications

• OTA certification from an accredited program.
• Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology.
• Ability to develop and implement effective care plans for diverse patient populations.
• Excellent communication skills and a compassionate approach to patient care.

Responsibilities

• Assist occupational therapists in implementing treatment plans for patients.
• Support residents in daily activities to enhance their independence and quality of life.
• Monitor patient progress and report any changes to the occupational therapist.
• Educate patients and their families on therapeutic techniques and exercises.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient care and progress notes.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care.
