Job summary

Getlabs is seeking PRN Mobile Phlebotomists to visit patients at home or in offices, collect specimens, and transport them to labs using your own vehicle. You will follow safe blood collection procedures, adapt quickly to a high-growth startup, and stay in close contact with operations and patient-experience teams.

The role emphasizes exceptional patient care, strong communication, and reliable availability; shifts typically include early mornings (as early as 5am) with a practical cap on hours

Qualifications

• Phlebotomy certification from an accredited agency.
• 1 year of phlebotomy experience (mobile phlebotomy preferred).
• Experience processing samples.
• Certification from a national agency such as AMT, ASCP, or NCCT.
• Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service.
• Strong communication skills; both written and verbal.
• Ability to drive in the dark - early shifts may be as early as 5am.
• Ability to physically access patients including kneeling, bending, stooping, sitting and reaching.
• Ability to physically navigate patients homes including climbing stairs and carrying 15 pounds while walking.
• Ability to work independently or in a team environment under minimal supervision.
• Reliable transportation and clean driving record.
• Spanish language (bonus).

Responsibilities

• Visit patients in their home or office, drive to and from appointments, process specimens with a centrifuge that plugs into your car, drop samples off at patient service centers or laboratories.
• Follow safe and accurate blood collection procedures and processing of specimens, with a high degree of accuracy.
• Adapt in a rapid high-growth environment.
• Maintain close communication with the operations and patient experience team during business hours.
• Confirm your availability to your leader every Friday for the upcoming week, if possible.
• Based on your availability, your leader will schedule you in advance or call you as needed for shifts.
• As a PRN, be available a minimum of three days a week during 5am-1pm, Monday to Friday; up to 29 hours per week.
