Job summary

Interim HealthCare Inc. is seeking an LPN to provide in-home nursing care across weekend night shifts or Friday daylight shifts in the Pittsburgh area. The role supports patients of all ages with a focus on comfort and dignity, delivering direct care per the prescribed plan of care.

The position offers flexible scheduling (FT/PT/PRN), competitive pay and benefits, and a daily pay option. CPR/BLS certification and reliable transportation are required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a practical nursing program with LPN/LVN license.
• Current unrestricted LPN license in the applicable state.
• Current CPR/AED/BLS/First Aid certification.
• Reliable transportation to/from care sites/work locations.
• Practical trach/ventilation experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-home direct patient care according to the plan of care and nursing scope.
• Assess and document patient conditions and report changes as needed.
• Administer medications, insulin, and IV/fluids with thorough documentation.
• Inspect and care for wounds; change dressings and assist with hygiene.
• Assess for further injuries or infections and provide appropriate treatments.
• Collaborate with providers and staff to ensure quality patient outcomes.
