Travel to community sites as needed; operate within state regulations for local anesthesia and nitrous oxide; use Open Dental and MS Office for records. Active Minnesota license and BLS/CPR are required.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of dental hygiene.
• Active Minnesota Dental Hygienist License.
• 2-4 years of clinical experience preferred.
• Current CPR (BLS) certification from AHA or Red Cross.
• Local anesthesia and nitrous oxide certification.
• English communication skills; Spanish proficiency preferred by location.
• Ability to work under a Collaborative Agreement.
• Willingness to travel; valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Provide prophylaxis, scaling, and root planing.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and preventive care.
• Assess and document patient conditions with the dental team.
• Administer local anesthesia and nitrous oxide where permitted.
• Maintain accurate patient records using OpenDental and MS Office.
• Uphold infection control protocols and safety standards.
• Travel to community sites as needed.
