Job summary

Home Helpers of Gwinnett in Lawrenceville, GA is seeking a reliable PRN in-home caregiver with 3+ years hands-on experience to join our care team. This role emphasizes compassion, independence, and adherence to care plans while providing personal care and ADL support.

Flexible PRN shifts are available, with duties including companionship, meal prep, and reporting changes in clients' conditions. CNA/PCA/HHA certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of professional caregiving experience.
• Hands-on experience providing personal care is required.
• Experience assisting with ADLs (bathing, dressing, toileting, grooming, transfers, meals).
• Dependable, punctual, and responsible.
• Compassionate and patient with clients.
• Flexible and willing to accept PRN shifts as they become available.
• Able to work independently and follow care plans and instructions.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on personal care and daily assistance.
• Assist clients with ADLs maintaining comfort, dignity, and safety.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Prepare meals and assist with light household tasks related to client care.
• Monitor and report changes in the client's condition.
• Follow the client's care plan and safety guidelines.
• Provide coverage for open, fill-in, and short-notice shifts.
