Job summary

EmberHope Youthville is seeking a part-time Behavioral Interventionist to provide one-on-one, trauma-informed care in home settings for youth. The role emphasizes stability, nurturing presence, and adherence to treatment plans.

No prior behavioral experience is required; training is provided within 30 days, including trauma-informed care, crisis prevention, CPR/First Aid, and EHR documentation. Flexible evenings/weekends support families and youth effectively.

Qualifications

• Ability to provide trauma-informed support to youth in home settings.
• Willingness to complete required trainings and certifications.
• Able to document services accurately in the EHR system.

Responsibilities

• Create a stable, trauma-informed environment in Therapeutic Family Foster Homes.
• Deliver one-on-one neuro-developmental and coping skill activities.
• Support daily living and emotional regulation per treatment plan.
• Provide supervision and approved intervention strategies at all times.
• Maintain open communication with caregivers.
• Ensure shift activities align with the child’s routines.
• Document services in the agency’s EHR promptly.
• Learn and apply CBI and TFFH standards; follow all EmberHope policies.
