Job summary

Varco Hospice, LLC is seeking a compassionate RN to join our home health team in Amarillo, TX. The PRN position focuses on one-on-one in-home care, delivering high-quality nursing services directly at patients' homes.

You'll assess needs, develop care plans, and educate families while maintaining independence and a flexible schedule. Previous home health or acute care experience is preferred, with strong communication and reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• Active Texas RN license is required.
• Home health or acute care experience preferred.
• Strong clinical judgment and adaptability.
• Excellent communication and patient care skills.
• Reliable transportation & valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Perform in-home patient assessments.
• Develop and follow individualized care plans.
• Provide skilled nursing care (wound care, meds, catheter care, chronic disease management).
• Educate patients and caregivers on home care and safety.
• Monitor patient progress and update care plans.
• Complete timely and accurate documentation.
