Job summary

Empath Home Health, a member of Empath Health, is seeking a compassionate PRN Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to support our Home Health team in the Immokalee and Ave Maria, FL area. The role involves delivering individualized in-home physical therapy services with flexible scheduling and ongoing interdisciplinary collaboration.

Qualifications include an active Florida PTA license, at least 1 year of licensed PTA experience, and a preference for home health experience.

Qualifications

• Active Florida PTA license is required.
• Home health care experience is preferred.
• Strong assessment and patient education skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy services under the supervision of a PT.
• Assist in evaluating equipment needs to improve function.
• Educate patients and families on self-care and functional maintenance.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure holistic care.
